How we move, think and feel have an impact on stress responses that have real neural connections. What Hippocrates said comes to mind here: "If someone wishes for good health, one must first ask oneself if he is ready to do away with the reasons for his illness. Only then it is possible to help him."

Polarity Therapy is a spiritually based, whole-person health care system based on the premise that energy fields and currents exist everywhere in nature and that the flow and balance of energy in the human body determines our health. Disease, pain and stress are results from underlying energy imbalances in our body, mind and spirit. Improving the flow of energy in a person's body, polarity therapy brings greater balance to the whole system through four therapeutic techniques: bodywork, nutrition, exercise and self-awareness/counseling.
At the very core of the search for true health lies the essential question of what is life for.
What is our personal goal, in terms of the use we make of this body and mind - and what is the purpose of the devine gift of this human life?
Merely having no physical pain does not always mean a happy condition of mind. We are entitled to more and have a greater purpose for being in this world.
Each one of us is seeking the inner happiness that comes from not outward accomplishments but from the harmony of our inner being.
~Dr. Randolph Stone
Polartiy Therapy has become an integrative part of all our healing sessions regardless of the modalities. Many of our clients receive Polarity Therapy for personal growth.
The John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach. It consists of the gentle application of sustained pressure into the fascial restrictions. This essential "time element" has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate. The art of Myofascial Release is the ablility to identify the individual's unique restrictions and then incorporating the important time factor so that the phenomena of piezoelectricity, mechanotransduction, phase transition which ultimately leads to resonance or release. ~John F. Barnes
What is fascia? Fascia is a tough connective tissue which spreads throughout the body in a three-dimensional web from head to foot without interruption. Trauma, surgery, posture or thwarted inflammation can create a binding down of fascia resulting in excessive pressure on nerves, muscles, blood vessels, osseous structures and/or organs. Since all of the standard tests such as radiographs (x-rays), myelograms, computerized tomographic scans (CAT scans), and electromyograms (EMG) do not show the fascial restrictions, it is thought that an extremely high percentage of people suffering with pain and/or lack of motion may be having fascial problems, but most go undiagnosed.
According to John F. Barnes, the fascial system, when restricted, can exert up to approximately 2000 pounds per square inch of crushing pressure on pain sensitive structures all the way down to the cellular level. Cells have the capacity to convert mechanical stimuli (Myofascial Release) into chemical changes. Recent research is also indicating that depression may be an allergic reaction to inflammation. By treating the inflammatory symptoms of depression, anxiety and exhaustion, rather than the neurological ones, researchers are opening up to an exciting new dimension in the fight against what has become a global epidemic. This same thought process leads us to thwarted inflammatory responses which can be caused by fascial restrictions, may also be the cause of many of the disease processes that so many suffer with.
For most of my clients, Myofascial Release has been consistently producing long-lasting, highly effective results in the reduction or even complete release of pain - physically and emotionally, headaches, fibromyalgia, restrictions of motion and women's health problems.
Aromatherapy utilizes the essential oils that are extracted from aromatic plants to restore and enhance health and beauty as defined by the American Aromatherapy Association. We choose to use only 100% pure Certified Organic, Wildcrafted therapeutic grade essential oils that contain the highest herbal energy available in the world today.
Essential oils are powerful healers. They have many potent "anti" qualities. All essential oils are anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal in nature. They help the body create an environment of balance and peace, within which they fight against damaging micro-organisms; detoxify organs, glands and the body systems, balance the body functions, and raise the physical body's vibrations. When the body lives in higher vibrations, lower energies such as stagnant, negative emotions are impelled to surface and be released. Essential oils therefore can assist in healing the heart. They provide the energy needed to penetrate the heart and release the deeply trapped negative emotions as well as the limiting belief systems, so that we can receive positive feelings and experience true healing and spiritual enlightenment. In the process of healing, they inspire us to live a grace-filled life. In essence, essential oil therapy is the "happy therapy."
The spiritual work of essential oils is to help people on their journey so that they can get back to who they really are. We are part of a masterpiece and are masterpieces. Working with esential oils in healing does indeed allow the person to heal completely. Talk Therapy often helps people to cope and come to terms with the difficulties in their lives, but cannot commit to complete healing. People experiencing essential oil healing report that they are experiencing life differently and often a surprised experience for the person, then relief in that they know they are healed.
